As many of you know, we recently had to face the decision to redesign the BEYOND covers so they’d be more retailer-friendly.
They’ve all been revealed in various places, but this is just a post to put them all together. I’m really happy with how they turned out, and what this means for covers going forward. It’s going to let us showcase a little more personality of various heroines–and heroes! #5 is the hero!–and hopefully keep us in good with the Powers that Be. 🙂
So…there is the new cover for BEYOND CONTROL. The book is still 100% the same, this is NOT a new release. Simply a new cover, because the previous one tripped over some of Amazon’s revised guidelines for what can be displayed in the main store.
I don’t usually ask people to share stuff, but if you’re willing to pass the word around on this, I’d appreciate it. We don’t want anyone getting disappointed because they bought this, thinking it was a new book.
Even though I didn’t WANT to change, I kinda love this new one, too. As fond as I was of Lex’s ass (hey, who isn’t?!) I like her style and her ink, too.

Beyond Control
We’re in the final stages of preparing Beyond Control for publication! ARCs have gone out and reviews are coming in, and we’re hunkering down to format books and do our final proofing passes. We hope to have both the print and ebook copies available on release day, though print can take a few days to make it through all the expanded distribution websites.
Official release date: MARCH 19th! For the truly dedicated…if you start checking Amazon or B&N Monday morning, you just might find it. 😉
Pre-Order
At this point in time, most independent self-publishers don’t have access to pre-order options on the major retailer websites. This is a bummer, totally, and we would give you the option if we could! But in the meantime we ask people who really don’t want to miss the book to subscribe to our announcement list. This is not a high-volume newsletter, and you’ll only receive emails when new books or new formats (such as audiobooks) are available.
DABWAHA
We were super excited last night to find out that we’d squeaked into the finalists for DABWAHA. For those of you who have never heard of such a thing, think of it like March Madness for romance novels. I’m a frequent smack-talker and big time loser in this contest every year, as I can’t pick a bracket to save my life. Also? I had already promised to destroy anyone who got in the path of my favorite books this year before I realized I was one of the finalists. My indecision over whether or not to wage war against my own book should be entertaining. 😉

We’re really pleased today to be able to announce that Beyond Shame will be coming to a store near you in the near future…as an audiobook! The lovely folks at Tantor Audio will be producing the audio version, and we’re confident that will make it both high in quality and widely accessible to all our readers.
The best news: selling the audio rights to Tantor frees us up to keep working on Beyond Control. We’re hip deep in Dallas & Lex’s story, and can’t wait to share it with you. Though that’s still a few months off, at the very least, we have hopes that you could see the audio version of Beyond Shame a little sooner–hopefully quite early in 2013.
